In late September 2026, Transfermarkt updated market valuations for the Turkish Süper Lig. Galatasaray maintained the highest squad valuation at 381.5 million euros, despite a decrease of 30.1 million euros. Victor Osimhen was identified as the league’s most valuable player at 65 million euros, though his valuation had dropped by 10 million euros.

By mid-October, attention shifted toward Osimhen’s individual performance and reputation. Turkish football experts provided high praise for the Galatasaray striker; former goalkeeper Volkan Demirel described him as “the greatest striker in the history of the Turkish Süper Lig,” while pundit Ahmet Çakar suggested Osimhen possesses the talent to be a top scorer in the English Premier League.
