Vietnam is advancing initiatives to promote its cultural heritage and visual arts through photography. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced plans to establish the nation’s first UNESCO-recognised “city of photography” by 2027, aiming to create a national hub for visual arts and stimulate the cultural-creative industry.

In support of these cultural themes, various photography exhibitions and book launches have been organized to highlight the country’s maritime territories and intangible heritage.
