Vietnam continues to expand its diplomatic and economic reach through strategic partnerships and bilateral agreements. Recent high-level engagements have significantly deepened these connections. During a state visit to Beijing, President To Lam and Chinese leadership signed 14 bilateral agreements to enhance economic integration, focusing on supply chain connectivity, agricultural trade, and the planning of cross-border railway connections. These protocols specifically grant Vietnamese agricultural products, such as fresh coconuts, crocodiles, and raw materials for traditional medicine, expanded access to the Chinese market.

Diplomatic ties with Côte d’Ivoire were further strengthened through an official visit by Patrick Achi, President of the National Assembly of Côte d’Ivoire, marking the first visit by a head of a legislative body from an African nation during the current term of the Vietnamese parliament. 

Further expansion of these networks includes a memorandum with Laos to expand cooperation between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Lao Front for National Construction through 2030. In Singapore, Politburo Member Tran Cam Tu participated in the first Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Dialogue to deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established in 2025, focusing on clean energy, digital transformation, high technology, green finance, and semiconductors. Additionally, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung met with Chilean Foreign Minister Francisco Pérez Mackenna to affirm the Comprehensive Partnership between the two nations, marking their 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
