Authorities in Vietnam have initiated legal proceedings against several drivers and facilitators following fatal road accidents. 

In Khanh Hoa province, a hotel employee was charged for providing a motorbike to an intoxicated Russian tourist, which resulted in a pedestrian death. In Tuyen Quang province, a contract driver faced prosecution after an unsafe overtaking maneuver during rain killed a British tourist. 

Additionally, Phu Tho Provincial Police prosecuted a bus driver for violating safety regulations on the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway. The driver reportedly opened a vehicle door while still in motion to allow a passenger to disembark at an unauthorized location, causing the passenger to fall and die. 

In response to these incidents, authorities have issued warnings to transport businesses and drivers to strictly adhere to safety protocols and emphasized the responsibility of providers regarding passenger safety.
