Viltrox announced plans to showcase a variety of new imaging products at the IBC2026 trade show in Amsterdam under the theme ‘MORE THAN ONE WAY TO SEE’. The planned exhibition included seven new lenses, lighting equipment, a high-power flash, and the Viltrox DC-X4 camera monitor.

Following these announcements, the company expanded its Air Series compact full-frame autofocus prime lenses to the L-Mount platform, providing options for Leica, Sigma, and Panasonic users. The lineup includes the AF 14mm F4.0 Air L, AF 20mm F2.8 Air L, AF 40mm F2.5 Air L, and AF 50mm F2.0 Air L. These lenses are designed for portability and to minimize optical aberrations.

The new L-Mount series features STM autofocus motors and includes a USB-C port for firmware updates. While designed for lightweight use, the lenses do not feature official weather sealing against water or dust. Pricing for the series ranges from $168 for the 20mm model to $199 for the 14mm and 50mm models. The release specifically targets users of systems such as the Panasonic Lumix S9.
