The Vinaròs City Council has initiated several infrastructure and maintenance projects for the municipal rural road network.

In late August, the council launched a 368,000 euro public tender to improve the Camino Fondo and Camino Carretes roads. The project involves repairing road layouts, filling potholes, and applying new asphalt to enhance safety for residents and farmers.

Following the conclusion of extreme wildfire risk alerts, the municipality has also resumed vegetation clearing and cleaning along rural roads. Coordinated by the Department of Agriculture, these maintenance efforts aim to remove plant debris from ditches to improve visibility and safety. Work is being carried out across multiple areas, including La Carrasca, Peníscola, and Xivert, with plans to intensify these activities throughout September.
