Vincent Kompany, the head coach of Bayern Munich, has received recognition for his professional achievements and his social initiatives.

In early September 2026, Kompany was named as one of five nominees for the 2026 Ballon d’Or Men’s Coach of the Year award following a successful season in which he led Bayern Munich to a domestic double and a Champions League semi-final.

Later in the month, Kompany visited BX Brussels, a social football project he founded in 2013 in Anderlecht. The initiative focuses on the personal and social development of Brussels youth, with approximately 90 percent of its budget dedicated to social initiatives.
