Musician Vinicio Capossela announced a new album titled ‘Milk Wood Bar’, scheduled for release on January 22, 2027, through BMG. The project, described as his first ‘Ballad Opera’, is inspired by the poetic universe of Dylan Thomas and his poem ‘Under Milk Wood’.

Initial plans included a debut at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome as part of the Romaeuropa Festival, followed by a tour of Italian theaters. Subsequently, Capossela released ‘Oltre il bosco’, the first extract from the upcoming album. This specific work is dedicated to the memory of radio DJ Renato Striglia and explores themes of human existence and the subconscious.
