In Colombia, the death toll from the armed attack at the Cabeza de Hacha establishment in the Simaña district of La Gloria, Cesar, has risen to at least five individuals. The victims have been identified as Diomar Gómez Cáceres, Edelmis Toro Guevara, Carlos Rodelo, and brothers Miguel and Milton Armenta Jaraba.

Witnesses reported that gunmen in civilian clothes entered the billiard hall and opened fire. While preliminary investigations suggested the massacre was linked to disputes over illegal revenues, new reports indicate the attackers may have identified themselves as members of the ELN, accusing the victims of having ties to paramilitary structures. Authorities are also investigating potential links between the victims and the ‘Clan del Golfo’.

In response to the deteriorating public order in the southern region of the department, Governor Elvia Milena Sanjuán has convened an extraordinary security council to supplement the previously established Unified Command Post.

In Spain, a forest fire near Benahavís in Málaga has prompted a preventive confinement for the town's urban center and the La Coja residential area. The Andalusian emergency plan, Infoca, has activated an operational emergency phase, deploying 60 firefighters, eight helicopters, and seven aircraft to combat the flames. Authorities have instructed residents to keep doors and windows closed.
