Brazil has reported a series of violent incidents involving arson and domestic disputes. 

In Soledade, a 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly setting fire to the Hotel Planalto in retaliation against a former partner, leaving an employee in serious condition. In Curitiba, a man was arrested for allegedly setting his partner on fire in Praça Rui Barbosa; the victim is in critical condition with burns covering approximately 65% of her body. 

In Limoeiro, Pernambuco, an attack at a motel involving fire resulted in the death of a 29-year-old woman and left another woman seriously injured, with authorities suspecting the fire was intended to destroy evidence. Additionally, in Engenheiro Coelho, São Paulo, a 29-year-old woman was arrested for child abandonment after a lit candle caused a house fire, resulting in burns to a 9-year-old girl and smoke inhalation for two other children.
