In Rochester, New York, authorities have arrested suspects in connection with two distinct violent crimes.

Jaquawn Johnson, 36, was apprehended by a United States Marshal’s Task Force. He faces charges of second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and multiple weapons possession charges following a June 6 incident where a man was shot multiple times while in his vehicle.

Separately, Jonathan Shearin, 34, has been charged in the July murder of 77-year-old Marc Stekloff. Investigators report that Stekloff was stabbed more than thirty-six times in his apartment.
