Mumbai has experienced separate incidents of violence stemming from localized disputes. 

In Santacruz East, a conflict regarding a ‘Free Fire’ online game ID resulted in a stabbing on September 30. The victim sustained serious throat injuries following an altercation involving accusations of unauthorized Facebook credential use. Three individuals were arrested by Wakola Police.

In Malad, a dispute over the cessation of a Garba event led to a home invasion on October 16. Attackers used iron rods and bamboo sticks to assault a resident, who was subsequently hospitalized in the ICU. Malvani police have arrested three suspects, while one remains at large, and have increased security in the area to prevent further unrest.
