In Milan, Carabinieri rescued a 25-year-old man following a two-day kidnapping and assault. The incident began on September 8 with an ambush in Rozzano, where a group of five men targeted the victim. Later that evening, the victim was intercepted in the Gratosoglio area by approximately twenty people. 

Investigators reported that the victim was assaulted with sticks and an extinguisher until he lost consciousness, then bound and gagged. He was held captive in a public housing apartment on via Saponaro until he was discovered by authorities on Thursday evening following an anonymous tip.
