The Catania and Etna regions are hosting several initiatives focused on wine and culture. In late October, Tenute dei Ciclopi scheduled the opening of a new wine tasting space in Catania’s historic center to bring Etna wine experiences to urban residents and travelers.

Following this, the Etna Wine Awards 2026 were set to take place from November 7 to 9 at the Romano Palace Luxury Hotel. Organized by Dario Moscato, the awards aim to promote Sicilian viticulture for economic and tourism development through tastings and professional meetings. These wine events coincide with a broader weekend of cultural programming in the area, including opera, theater, and musical performances.
