In La Spezia, Italy, a new vocational training program titled ‘Tecnico dell’Ospitalità e del Marketing Esperienziale’ is being launched to assist unemployed or inactive residents in entering the tourism sector. 

Co-financed by the European Union and the Liguria Region, the initiative is promoted by Forma in collaboration with several local organizations and municipalities. The 600-hour course focuses on skills such as front office management, digital promotion, and the promotion of local food and artisanal products through sustainable tourism. The program, which includes both classroom learning and on-site internships, is scheduled to run from November 2026 to June 2027.
