Fundraising efforts for the construction of the ‘12 Croatian Guardsmen’ stadium in Vukovar have received significant contributions from both local government and the private sector.

On October 6, the Municipality of Podstrana donated 30,000 euros to the project, marking the largest single municipal contribution to the campaign. Officials noted the donation holds symbolic value due to historical ties between the two regions during the Homeland War.

Following this, the company Pevex d.d. signed an agreement to provide 100,000 euros for the facility. The planned stadium, located in the Borovo settlement, is designed to include 4,788 seats to support regional sports development.
