Bulkhead and Team17 announced that the tactical FPS WARDOGS is scheduled to launch in Early Access on Steam on September 10, 2026. The game features 100-player matches involving infantry and vehicle combat within a destructible Eastern European industrial setting.

Following the initial announcement, the title surpassed 1 million Steam wishlists. This surge in interest followed a developer video titled “10 reasons why you should not buy” the game, in which developers provided a candid assessment of the current state of development, noting a lack of content and a primary focus on core gameplay and performance. 

A closed beta weekend is scheduled for August 21–23, 2026, for players who pre-order the title.
