Warner Bros. has released the trailer for ‘Batman Knightfall Part 2: Knightquest’, an animated film adaptation of the DC comic book storyline.

Set in the aftermath of Bruce Wayne’s defeat by the villain Bane, the narrative depicts Wayne as incapacitated and paralyzed from the waist down. As Wayne informs Dick Grayson and Tim Drake that Jean-Paul Valley will assume the mantle, Valley transitions from the traditional Batman suit to the armored ‘Az-Bats’ persona. This new iteration is characterized by a more violent and ruthless approach to crimefighting in Gotham City.

The film, directed by Jeff Wamester, features a voice cast including Anson Mount as Bruce Wayne, Pablo Schreiber as Jean-Paul Valley, and Michael Mando as Bane. The production is expected to be released in late 2026.
