Trailmark Games and Bamtang Games are developing ‘Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest’, a turn-based role-playing game based on the Erin Hunter novel series. The game is scheduled for release on October 23 or 24, 2026, depending on the region. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Players will navigate the Lake Territories as customized feline characters, choosing to pledge loyalty to one of four factions: ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, or WindClan. Each Clan features a unique story campaign rooted in specific cultures and traditions. 

Gameplay mechanics include strategic three-versus-three combat, hunting, and scent tracking across various biomes such as marshes and moorlands. Customization options extend to fur patterns, physical traits, and den decoration. Additionally, the game features a system of unlockable faction moves and ancestral attacks as players attempt to uncover the secrets of StarClan.
