Warsaw Chopin Airport has undergone various operational and service-related developments. The airport implemented new 3D security scanners designed to increase check speeds by allowing passengers to keep items in bags and permitting liquid containers up to 2 liters. Regarding the security modernization, the airport has now reached the halfway point of the installation process. Eight of the 15 planned machines are currently operational within the AB security zones. The full modernization is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.
