The Washington State women’s volleyball team experienced contrasting results during their season. In September, the Cougars suffered their first straight-sets defeat, losing 3-0 to Long Beach State at Bohler Gym. The loss was attributed to service inefficiency and a low hitting percentage.

By October, the team demonstrated resilience by completing a reverse sweep against Boise State. After dropping the first two sets, the Cougars won the final three sets to bring their overall record to 8-8.
