Polaris M Holding has implemented various waste management and recycling initiatives in the Constanța and Năvodari regions of Romania.

In Năvodari, a permanent collection point for bulky waste, such as sofas and mattresses, has been established on Strada Uzinei 1. Additionally, a partnership with Constanța City Hall provides a network of over twenty permanent containers for free textile recycling, including clothing and footwear, located at schools, hospitals, and transport hubs.

In Constanța, the operator utilizes temporary collection measures, such as the deployment of green containers for bulky waste disposal. For the period of August 10–15, 2026, these containers were made available at Pescarilor Street (block FZ 26) and Aleea Stadionului (platform 203) for items like furniture, mattresses, and carpets. A permanent collection center on Aurel Vlaicu Boulevard remains available for residents throughout the week.

However, modernization efforts in Constanța have faced setbacks. Modern eco-islands designed for selective recycling via card-access containers have reportedly remained unused for over a year. Due to these systems not being functional, residents continue to use old, exposed containers, leading to waste being scattered into streets and green spaces. Neither Constanța City Hall nor Polaris M Holding has provided a timeline for when the new system will be fully operational.
