The Municipality of Stazzema is expanding its door-to-door waste collection service to the hamlets of Retignano, Levigliani, Terrinca, and Arni, effective October 12. Managed by Ersu, the initiative targets historic mountain centers where narrow alleys prevent vehicle access, requiring operators to collect waste on foot.

The expansion seeks to increase the municipal recycling rate, which is currently at approximately 50%, and replace street containers to improve urban decorum. Local administration and Ersu will hold public meetings to coordinate procedures with citizens and businesses.
