In Peru, the Technical Organization for the Administration of Sanitation Services (OTASS) has transferred more than S/ 9 million to the water utility Seda Huánuco over a six-year period. This funding, provided under the Transitional Support Regime, was intended to strengthen management, renew equipment, and optimize potable water and sanitation services, helping the company reverse previous economic and financial insolvency.

In Bolivia, the Autonomous Administrator for Sanitary Works (AAPOS) reported the illegal sale of water from the Kari Kari basin in Potosí. Authorities identified two mining plants receiving water transported via unauthorized tanker trucks. This illegal activity is estimated to cause economic losses between 26 million and 30 million bolivianos and threatens the regional potable water supply, as reservoir capacity is currently at 29%. AAPOS has referred the matter to oversight authorities and may initiate criminal proceedings.
