Sources: 43. Developments: 5. Netflix has announced the conclusion of principal photography for the third season of the series ‘Wednesday’. Production for the season began in February 2026 and was filmed primarily near Dublin, Ireland, with additional filming in Paris, France. The wrap was officially confirmed as of September 30, 2026. To commemorate the wrap, Netflix released a first-look image of Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, depicted in a moody setting at a typewriter. While the production reportedly faced challenges, including an injury to newcomer Eva Green, the project has now moved into the post-production phase, which will involve editing, visual effects, and sound design. The upcoming season is expected to expand the lore of the Addams family and Nevermore Academy, potentially portraying the characters as high school seniors. New plot details suggest the season may involve a search for Enid Sinclair and explore the character of Ophelia Frump, played by Eva Green. Director Tim Burton expressed enthusiasm for returning to the series to work with both the original cast and new colleagues. The cast features returning members such as Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Fred Armisen, alongside new additions including Eva Green, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, Kennedy Moyer, Lena Headey, and Andrew McCarthy. Following the wrap of season three, speculation regarding the show’s future has emerged due to social media posts from Jenna Ortega’s stunt double, Jenny Ayumi, regarding the ‘end of an era’. While Netflix has made no official announcement regarding the series’ continuation beyond the third season, current production timelines suggest a 2027 release window. ## Claims - Netflix confirmed that filming for the third season of 'Wednesday' has concluded.
