The musical ‘Rent’, created by Jonathan Larson, has moved to London’s West End at the Tom Stoppard Theatre following a development by director Luke Sheppard at Manchester’s Hope Mill Theatre.

This revival, which marks the production’s 30th anniversary, features an immersive staging with onstage seating designed to foster a sense of community. The production reimagines the story of artists living in New York during the AIDS crisis through a gritty, urban aesthetic. The cast includes Gaten Matarazzo, making his West End debut in the role of Mark Cohen, alongside Travis Ross, Alexa Lopez, Lazy Violet, and Danielle Fiamanya.
