The province of Córdoba hosted the 2026 Provincial Parliament for Women's Political Rights on September 23. The assembly, which commemorated the anniversary of the 1947 law establishing women's suffrage in Argentina, brought together approximately 70 female parliamentarians, including mayors, legislators, union leaders, and academics.

Discussions during the event centered on three primary themes: women's political leadership, gender-based political violence, and the care economy in relation to gender asymmetries. The initiative was a collaborative effort involving the Vice-Governorship of Córdoba, the Provincial Women's Secretariat, and the Unicameral Legislature, following a series of territorial forums titled ‘Women who Participate’ held earlier in the month.
