In early August, two separate incidents occurred: a worker in Acre suffered multiple fractures and head injuries after a tree branch fell on him, and a construction worker in Santa Catarina was injured after falling six metres from a roof. 

By mid-August, further accidents were reported in Santa Catarina. In Camboriú, a worker died following an eight-metre fall caused by a suspected snapped steel cable on a material transport elevator, while another worker sustained multiple fractures. Additionally, in Florianópolis, a worker suffered an exposed limb fracture and signs of traumatic brain injury after falling from a crane, requiring aerial medical transport.
