Tunisia and the World Bank Group are working to strengthen cooperation and accelerate the implementation of development projects. Following a meeting between Tunisia’s Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, and Alex Kremer, the new Director of the World Bank Group office in Tunisia, discussions focused on intensifying coordination under a forthcoming Country Partnership Framework (CPF).

The World Bank reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Tunisia in implementing economic and social reforms. Minister Abdelhafidh emphasized the necessity of diversifying cooperation areas and improving coordination to speed up the execution of Bank-funded projects. The current CPF for Tunisia, which covers 2023–2027, prioritizes human capital strengthening, quality job creation, climate resilience, and ecological transition.
