The Graciosa Country Club in Curitiba is hosting its inaugural WTA 125 tournament, running from October 23 to November 1. Organized by the Instituto Esperança do Amanhã, the event features a US$ 115,000 prize pool and offers 125 ranking points to the champion. The institute, which has supported professional tennis development for 15 years, also plans future tournaments in São Paulo and Barueri.

The singles main draw includes Brazilian players Gabriela Cé, Laura Pigossi, and Carol Meligeni. Gabriela Cé secured a direct spot following a player withdrawal. Additionally, the institute issued a wildcard invitation to 22-year-old Ana Candiotto, while a third invitation intended for Victória Barros was withdrawn due to injury. Public admission is free via registration through the AppTicket application.

As the tournament has commenced, several Brazilian athletes, including Catarina Melleiro, Georgia Gulin, Jennifer Dourado, and Bianca Bernardes, have entered the qualifying rounds. Other notable Brazilian participants include junior players Nauhany Silva and Eduarda Gomes, alongside Luiza Fullana and Júlia Konishi. While the tournament is held on clay courts, some matches are scheduled for indoor courts due to weather alerts from INMET regarding morning rain and potential thunderstorms in the Curitiba area.
