Sources: 39. Developments: 4. The Worlds Collide event, a collaboration between WWE and AAA, was taped on September 26, 2026, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Following earlier uncertainty regarding its broadcast format, WWE confirmed the event would not be a live stream but would instead be released on YouTube on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in both English and Spanish. As the release date approached, WWE faced internal criticism following the decision to premiere the special during an AEW Dynamite tribute show for wrestler PAC (Benjamin Satterley), who passed away at age 40. The AEW tribute, held at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, included a ten-bell salute, a reading from the Satterley family, and a symbolic empty chair left by the Death Riders faction. Match highlights from the tribute included a non-title bout between Will Ospreay and Ricochet, a ten-man tag team main event featuring a one-night retirement return from Bryan Danielson, and a Jon Moxley defense of the AEW Continental Championship. Upon its release, Worlds Collide drew an average of 76,000 concurrent YouTube viewers worldwide, with viewership peaking at 107,000 during the main event. Match results included CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and El Grande Americano defeating JD McDonagh, Omos, and Dominik Mysterio; the Lucha Brothers defeating Perros del Mal via disqualification; La Catalina defending her AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Roxanne Perez; and Mini Vikingo defeating Axiom, EK Prosper, and Je’Von Evans to become the number one contender for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship. Reports from journalists Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer suggest the scheduling caused “significant backstage discontent” within WWE and TKO. ## Claims - AEW is donating 100% of proceeds from PAC memorial merchandise to the Satterley family.
