WWE has begun signing new athletes to its developmental system for training at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Initial reports focused on the signing of 23-year-old Elly Finch, a former Michigan State University track and field athlete. Subsequent reports expanded the scope of recruitment, indicating that four female athletes have been signed to the developmental system. These recruits include Finch, Gabriela Martinez Asensi, a collegiate tennis player from Spain, and Tayleigh Robertson, who has experience in amateur wrestling and bodybuilding.

While there were initial reports suggesting that Italian CrossFit and weightlifting athlete Silvia Likki was among the new signings, later information indicates she has not signed with the promotion.
