Speculation regarding Big Cass’s future as a solo competitor in WWE intensified following a loss to Dragon Lee on WWE RAW. Analysts suggested the match outcome might indicate that the company does not intend to push Cass as a singles star, noting that losing to Lee is atypical for talent the company seeks to elevate.

Subsequent reports indicated that WWE creative teams are facing difficulties establishing Cass’s individual character due to persistent fan expectations for a reunion with former tag team partner Enzo Amore. While Amore is not currently under contract, the perception that the audience is waiting for his return is reportedly hampering the development of Cass’s solo storylines and presentation.
