Sources: 14. Developments: 5. WWE wrestlers Blake Monroe and Giulia have been engaged in an ongoing on-screen rivalry. Initially, Monroe claimed credit for Giulia’s recent media attention, characterizing herself as the “common denominator” in Giulia’s success and threatening physical pain. The rivalry progressed to an official singles match on the October 2 episode of WWE SmackDown in Denver, Colorado, marking Monroe’s main roster in-ring debut. Monroe won the match after countering a superplex attempt by Giulia, which caused Giulia to strike her head against the ring post. This resulted in an abrupt loss for the former NXT Women’s North American Champion. Following the pinfall, Giulia appeared briefly unconscious and required medical assistance. While some reports suggest the sequence may be part of an ongoing storyline, Giulia later addressed the concern on Instagram, stating, “Woke up, checked my phone, and saw so many messages from people worried about me. Sorry I keep making you guys worry.” In a post-match backstage segment, Giulia reportedly headbutted Monroe. Monroe, referred to as ‘The Glamour’, later characterized Giulia as a ‘sore loser’ and offered one final opportunity to compete, warning that a subsequent encounter would be even more severe. On October 17, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis officially scheduled a Street Fight between the two for October 23. In a digital-exclusive video, Giulia, referring to herself as ‘The Beautiful Madness’, promised a match defined by increased brutality, stating, “Let’s put each other through hell again.” On the October 23 broadcast of WWE SmackDown at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, the two competed in the scheduled Street Fight. The match featured high-intensity spots, including the use of kendo sticks and chairs, as well as segments on the entrance ramp and in the backstage area. Monroe secured her second victory over Giulia in three weeks by utilizing the Neutralizer. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-24: Blake Monroe defeats Giulia in WWE SmackDown Street Fight Blake Monroe defeated Giulia in a Street Fight during the October 23 episode of WWE SmackDown, marking her second win over the Japanese wrestler in three weeks. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/blake-monroe-defeats-giulia-in-wwe-smackdown-street-fight ### 2026-10-17: WWE SmackDown: Giulia and Blake Monroe set for Street Fight WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has announced a Street Fight between Giulia and Blake Monroe for October 23, following their intense and controversial recent rivalry. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/wwe-smackdown-giulia-and-blake-monroe-set-for-street-fight ### 2026-10-10: WWE's Blake Monroe issues new challenge to Giulia WWE's Blake Monroe has issued a challenge to Giulia for a final match following Monroe's recent SmackDown victory and controversial debut. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/wwes-blake-monroe-issues-new-challenge-to-giulia ### 2026-10-02: Blake Monroe debuts on SmackDown with victory over Giulia Blake Monroe made her WWE SmackDown in-ring debut by defeating Giulia, an encounter that included a head injury scare for Giulia and a heated continuation of their ongoing rivalry. 11 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/giulia-faces-injury-concerns-after-smackdown-match-against-blake-monroe ### 2026-09-19: Blake Monroe claims credit for Giulia’s WWE prominence WWE's Blake Monroe claims she is responsible for Giulia's recent prominence and trending status during their ongoing on-screen rivalry on Friday Night SmackDown. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/blake-monroe-claims-credit-for-giulias-wwe-prominence --- Cite as: WWE rivalry between Blake Monroe and Giulia.
