The narrative surrounding the Women's Intercontinental Championship involves ongoing conflicts between several competitors. Initially, a high-stakes tag team match featured Sol Ruca and Lola Vice against Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, following a recent incident where Vice pinned Perez.

Subsequently, Iyo Sky secured a non-title victory over the champion, Raquel Rodriguez, via a small package roll-up. This win earned Sky a future championship opportunity. However, the victory was immediately followed by a post-match assault on Sky by both Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
