WWE Superstar Rusev has been absent from television since July 27, following a match against Je’Von Evans on Monday Night RAW. While initial speculation suggested dissatisfaction with the company, reports indicate the absence was due to injury and illness. During his match, Rusev reportedly landed awkwardly on his neck, causing numbness in his hands, which led to him being placed in concussion protocol.

After being granted several weeks off to recover, Rusev returned to the WWE Performance Center but subsequently dealt with an undisclosed illness. 

Following medical approval at the Performance Center, Rusev has been cleared to return to action. To prepare for his return, he plans to undergo intensive training in Orlando with the NXT roster and visit Natalya’s ‘Dungeon 2.0’ to regain his athletic rhythm and explosiveness.
