Dwayne Johnson has discussed how his professional wrestling career in the WWE provided a foundation for his transition into Hollywood. He noted that performing live helped him develop crowd acumen and the ability to handle pressure, which aided his acting career.

Cody Rhodes has shared that Johnson advised wrestlers to frame their move toward acting as a desire to “grow as a storyteller” rather than dismissing the pursuit. Rhodes has applied this approach when meeting with studio executives as he expands his presence in film.
