Wydad AC has experienced a mixed start to the Botola Pro season. After an initial loss to Widad Temara, the club secured its first victory with a 2-0 win against Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi, featuring goals from Osama Zemraoui and Silvere Ganvoula.

However, the team’s momentum slowed in the fourth round, resulting in a 1-1 draw against Amal Tiznit. Despite an equalizer from Silvere Ganvoula via a penalty, Wydad AC was unable to secure a win. Following the draw, coach Paulo Sergio expressed dissatisfaction, noting that the team’s points do not reflect the club’s stature and citing a lack of clinical finishing. The club has collected 5 points from a possible 12 in the opening four rounds.
