Singer Wynonna Judd has publicly addressed the long-term substance abuse and legal struggles of her daughter, Grace Kelley. Judd described the decade-long situation as “hell on earth,” noting that she spent over $500,000 attempting to secure treatment for Kelley.

Kelley, 30, is currently serving a 15-month sentence in Virginia following a guilty plea regarding driving with a suspended or revoked license. During her incarceration, a judge denied Kelley’s request for temporary release to undergo a scheduled C-section. Judd, who adopted Kelley’s daughter in 2022, noted that she learned of the pregnancy through TikTok following a year of estrangement.

In recent comments, Judd stated that Kelley is “not sober” and is struggling with a “nightmarish addiction to meth.” Judd explained her decision to cease financial support and step away from the relationship, suggesting that her previous assistance might have been preventing Kelley from achieving lasting sobriety. Kelley’s legal history includes a 2015 arrest for manufacturing methamphetamine and a 2024 arrest for the theft of a church van.
