The Wyoming women’s soccer team has experienced a period of significant success within the Mountain West Conference. In late September, the Cowgirls achieved a program record by securing their sixth consecutive road victory, highlighted by a 2-0 shutout against Nevada. This win brought the team to an 8-2-0 record and marked their first conference victory.

By mid-October, the team maintained strong momentum, having won eight of their last nine matches. Led by conference scoring leader Alyssa Glover and freshman Brooke Brown, the team entered a critical homestand against New Mexico and UTEP while tied for second place in the conference standings.
