Following this, at the Exposibram 2026 event in Belo Horizonte, XCMG Brasil launched the XC988-HEV, a hybrid mining loader. This machine utilizes a lithium iron phosphate battery and an electric propulsion system to improve energy efficiency in mining and port environments. The company also showcased the XDE130 mining truck, which has a payload capacity of up to 120 tons.
