The XDS Astana Team has announced two significant rider signings for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

On August 29, the team confirmed the signing of French cyclist Anthony Turgis on a two-year contract. Turgis, a specialist in spring classics and one-day races, joins from TotalEnergies. General Manager Alexandr Vinokurov noted the signing is intended to bolster the team’s influence in one-day races and provide experience during Grand Tours.

Following this, on August 31, the team announced that Italian cyclist Andrea Bagioli has also signed a two-year deal. The 27-year-old will join the Kazakh-based squad in January 2027 after three seasons with Lidl-Trek. Vinokurov stated the team has followed Bagioli for some time, believing he can reach his potential within their structure, which specializes in hilly terrain and classics.
