Brazilian defender Yan Couto has moved from Borussia Dortmund to the Italian Serie A club Como 1907 on a season-long loan for the 2026-27 campaign. 

Initial reports estimated the loan fee at approximately €2 million with a purchase option of around €20 million. Subsequent details indicated a loan fee of 3.5 million euros and a purchase option of approximately 22 million euros. 

Como manager Cesc Fabregas described Couto as a “brave and technically strong player” who fits the team's style. The move is intended to utilize the 24-year-old's technical ability and energy as Como competes in the Champions League.
