BYD’s luxury brand, Yangwang, completed a 30,000-kilometer endurance test of the Yangwang U7 electric production vehicle in Nanning, China. The test lasted approximately nine days under extreme conditions, including temperatures above 36°C and 80% humidity. During the trial, the vehicle maintained cruising speeds of 240 km/h and underwent more than 350 ultra-fast flash charging cycles.

Results indicated that the vehicle’s Blade Battery 2.0 technology demonstrated high durability, with the battery retaining 98.7% of its original capacity. This testing occurs ahead of 2027 Chinese regulations that will mandate at least 30,000 km of reliability testing for new energy vehicles. Additionally, Yangwang introduced the ‘Tuning Master’ feature for suspension adjustments via OTA updates and launched a modification plan for vehicle customization.
