Following its establishment in Incheon, South Korea, the Yeongjong-gu district has launched several community-focused initiatives and festivals to promote local engagement and services. In mid-September, the district held the inaugural ‘YoungONE Festival’ at Seaside Park, which featured local artist performances, youth policy introductions, and digital experiences such as AI-driven career counseling. To support the local economy, the event included a food delivery pickup zone. The district also scheduled a Social Welfare Fair to provide residents with access to information regarding services for the elderly, children, and those with disabilities. Subsequent community events included the ‘Yeongjong Something’ family festival at the Yeongjong Haneulnuri Center, which drew approximately 500 residents for magic shows and bilingual speech contests. Additionally, the district hosted the Yeongjong-gu Youth Culture Festival at Yeongmaru Park.
