In late October 2026, various youth sporting and cognitive competitions were held across Poland. In Konin, students from Primary School No. 15 participated in the Konin City Championships in Games and Fun, which tested physical fitness, speed, and agility through a two-stage competition including the Children’s Olympics.

Simultaneously, the Spodek arena in Katowice hosted the eleventh edition of the Synerise National School and Kindergarten Chess Championships. The event drew over one thousand young participants from across the country. Tournament director Łukasz Brożek noted that high demand led to registration closing 40 days in advance, suggesting a “resurgence in the discipline.” Organized by the 64 POLA Foundation and UKS 21 Podlesie, the tournament utilized chess as an educational tool to promote logical reasoning and concentration.
