Yuhan Corporation has achieved recognition for its lung cancer treatment, Leclaza (lazertinib), which was named the Best Pharmaceutical Product at the inaugural Prix Galien Korea awards. Leclaza, a third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor, was developed through an open R&D model and has expanded into global markets following US FDA approval as a combination therapy.

Building on its oncology portfolio, the company is also advancing YH42946, an oral HER2-targeted therapy candidate. Presented at the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer, YH42946 is designed to target HER2 mutations and EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations. The drug is currently in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial evaluating its safety and anti-tumor effects in patients with solid tumors, with preliminary results expected by the end of 2026.
