Jockey Yutaka Take secured his sixth Kikuka Sho victory riding Go Into Sky. The race was marked by controversy when the Japan Racing Association (JRA) penalized jockey Yuga Kawada with a 50,000 yen fine for an improper maneuver that forced the horse Audacia outward. This incident led to social media criticism, with some observers describing the move as a ‘diagonal tackle’.

Following the Kikuka Sho, Take achieved a streak of three consecutive wins at Kyoto Racecourse. These victories included wins with Rouge Mystica, Gran Beat, and Etoile Hammer. His performance at the Kikuka Sho also established him as the oldest jockey to win a G1 race at 57 years and 7 months old.
