The 2026 Diplomatic Fun Fair in Lusaka, Zambia, serves as a platform for cultural diplomacy and international relations. The event, held at the Lusaka Showgrounds under the theme ‘Zambia Moves You: Connecting Cultures and Inspiring the Future’, features music, dance, food, and crafts from over 30 participating diplomatic missions and international organizations.

During the fair, Angola utilized its embassy to showcase traditional gastronomy, crafts, and natural juices. The Likumbi Lya Mize Chibolya cultural group performed traditional dances, including rituals related to the Mukanda initiation ceremony, to highlight Luvale and Lunda heritage.

In conjunction with these efforts to promote tourism and heritage, the Zambian diaspora in the United Kingdom is preparing for the 62nd Zambia Independence Celebration, scheduled for October 24, 2026, in London.
