007 First Light set for Nintendo Switch 2 release on March 18, 2027
IO Interactive has officially announced that the action-adventure title 007 First Light will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on March 18, 2027. The game, which tells an original origin story of James Bond, has already achieved significant commercial success on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, selling over 4 million units since its May 2026 debut.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version will include several exclusive features and bonuses. Pre-orders are currently open, offering the GoldenEye Suit as a bonus. A Deluxe Edition is also available, featuring additional outfits such as the Day of the Dead and Desert Explorer, along with various themed gadgets. The Switch 2 release will also include previously released updates such as New Game+ and a photo mode.
In separate gaming news, the monochromatic metroidvania Lelu is scheduled to release on January 21, 2027, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Developed by Jamie Rowan and published by Super Rare Originals, the game features a distinct black-and-white art style set within a labyrinthine toy factory.
